But first some kid cuteness:
Helena came into bed with me the other day and was eating a hamburger bun.
Me: "what are you eating"
Helena: "McDonald's bread."
While driving in the van the other day
Eloise: "turn off the music, I'm imaginating!"
Me: "what are you imaginating?"
Eloise: "that I'm an astronaut and I live on the moon."
The other day Ana came to me saying "Eloise broke her arm." Eloise was with her wearing a sling made out of toilet paper. Ana wanted to give her more medical attention but Eloise said "noooo" and took off. So I said "ask Helena if she wants a cast." Richard gave me a doubtful look. A little while later I came into the living room to find Helena lying passively on the couch as Ana bandaged her leg :oD Soon Eloise came back up to her saying "I broke my leg!" Eventually both little girls were lying on the carpet as Ana treated their various fractures. It was so cute!
Yeah, so the weather is really gross. It alternates between rain, sleet and snow...so it's wet, cold and overcast. I just came back from a 1 hour round trip to the school and shoveled the walk way. I got soaked. The littles were dawdling the whole way and collecting snowballs. It was rough on my patience!
So now I am just getting breakfast and have some housework to do before heading out again at 12:20 to take Eloise to school. BLAH! Then a friend is coming over for a visit, which is nice, but it makes it a busy day too. Before I know it it will be suppertime. I wanted to go Xmas shopping tonight, but we'll have to see how I get through this day. |
